Set Up an Instance: Process Overview

The process of creating an instance consists of a number of individual procedures, each of which must be done carefully and at the appropriate time.  With a little bit of planning and attention to detail, you will be able to successfully define and populate your application instance.

For most of these tasks—with the exception of creating Specialties—you have three options for getting data into your application instance:

This topic describes the order of tasks that must be completed when you are creating a new instance.  

Note:   The order is especially important when dealing with import scripts because there are certain dependencies that must be observed in order for import scripts to run without failing and with a minimum of errors.

The following steps give a high-level overview of the process of creating an instance. The links provide access to detailed instructions on how to accomplish each of the procedures. Keep in mind, though, that each of the tasks in the list can also be carried out using CorrigoNet's import and export functionality.
