Add Tasks to an Asset Model

Note:   Before adding tasks, you must first have created specialties in your company's knowledge base.

There are two main types of tasks:

These should be created for each specific model in your company's knowledge base to make it as easy as possible for users to set up PM/RM schedules and work orders in the system and to standardize the way common duties and problems are referred to in the system.

Task creation is completely flexible: you can add any number of tasks to an asset model and change them or add new ones at any time.

Add Tasks to an Asset Model

To add tasks to an asset model, complete the following steps:

  1. Go to Our Company >  Knowledge Base > Models.
  2. The Model search screen opens.
  3. Click Show All Models or use the search fields to find the model you want to add tasks to.
  4. Click the model name in the Models table.
  5. The Model Summary screen opens.
  6. In the Tasks region, click the Edit button.
  7. The Tasks screen opens.
  8. In the Tasks table heading row, click the Add New button.
  9. The Task - Details screen opens.
  10. Complete each of the following required fields:
  11. Complete any of the other optional fields that are relevant to the new task you are creating.
  12. Click OK to save the task in the system.
