Test a Custom Print Template

When you add a custom print template, you should test it to ensure that it is valid and works properly prior to making it available to end users. To test a new custom print template, complete the following steps:

1. Follow the instructions for adding a custom print template.
2. Select the template you want to test in the Print Template list.
3. Click the Test Template button.
4. The Work Order # screen opens.
4. Enter any valid work order number, then click OK.
5. If the template is valid, it opens in a preview window. If it is not valid, a message appears saying that there is a problem with the template.
6. Click the Print button in the preview window that opens.  
7. A standard Windows Print screen opens.
7. Make your selections in the Print screen, then click Print.
