Add a Custom Print Template

After you create a custom print template that is XHTML conforming, you must add it to the system.

To add a custom template, complete the following steps:

  1. Go to Work Orders > Settings > Print Templates.
  2. The Print Templates screen opens.
  3. Click the Add New button.
  4. The Add Print Template (Custom) screen opens.
  5. Click the Browse button and navigate to the place where your template file is located.
  6. Select the template file, then click Open.
  7. Type a name for the template in the Display As field.  This is the name that will be displayed on the Send/Print button drop-down list on the Work Order details screen.
  8. Click either the Yes or No radio button in the "Is Active" field.
  9. Click OK.  
  10. The new template appears in the Print Template list and is ready to be tested.
