Set the Default NTE Value for Your Company's Specialties

"Not to Exceed" (NTE) values are used to designate the maximum amount a user or vendor is allowed to charge for a work order. Because each job is different, CorrigoNet allows you to set NTE values based on the special skills required for a given job: carpentry, electrical, plumbing, security, or whatever specialties your company sets up. In cases where a work order is assigned a specialty that does not have a default NTE value set for it, the Work Order details screen will automatically insert the default NTE value that has been set for your company's specialties.

Note: For details on how to create specialties in CorrigoNet, refer to the Create or Edit a Specialty section of this guide.

To set the default NTE value for your company's specialties, complete the following steps:

  1. Go to Our Company > Knowledge Base > Settings.
  2. Enter a value in the Default NTE amount field.
  3. Click OK to save your changes.
