When you create a work order, the Priority field within the "Assignment and Scheduling" region of the work order is set automatically to a priority value based on the nature of the task or tasks that are being scheduled. You can change the priority manually if you need to.
Each priority in the system has a corresponding Response Hours and Complete Hours setting, with higher priorities possessing shorter response and completion time frames than lower priorities.

Because some priorities have a very short response time associated with them and because failure to meet these deadlines can have a negative impact on a vendor's overall score, you should take care when deciding to override the priority that is automatically assigned to your work order when you selected a task.
