Call Attention to a Work Order

At time, it might be necessary for you to bring managerial attention to a work order for authorization, consultation, or any number of other reasons. You do this by changing the status of the work order to "Needs Attention."

To change a work order status to Needs Attention, complete the following steps:

  1. Open the Work Order details screen for the work order.
  2. Click the Attention button in the top row of the work order. Show me

The Needs Managerial Attention popup screen appears. Show me

  1. Choose a reason from the Attention Reason drop-down list.  
  2. (Optional) Type additional explanatory text in the text box below the drop-down list.
  3. (Optional) Edit the record of time spent on the work order so far by doing the following:
    1. Click a record in the lower table to select it.
    2. Click the Edit button at the bottom of the screen.

    The Pending Time Record popup screen opens. Show me

    1. Make whatever changes you want to the Team, User, Start Date/Time, Labor Code, and Time Recorded fields.
    2. Click OK to save your changes and close the popup screen.

    The popup screen closes and the Needs Managerial Attention screen refreshes to display the edited content.

  4. Click OK to finish calling attention to the work order.  

The Needs Managerial Attention popup screen closes and the work order status changes to Needs Attention. In addition, an alert is sent to all members of the related work zone who are subscribed to the Needs Attention alert.
