Manage Type Settings
To manage work order type settings, complete the following steps:
- Go to Work Orders > Settings > Types.
- On the Work Order Types screen that appears, do any of the following:
- Click the Add New button to open the Add Work Order Type popup screen where you can define the name, category, abbreviation, and alert print template for the new work order type.
- Click a type in the Work Order Type table and click the Delete button to remove it from the system.
IMPORTANT: Work order types that have been used cannot be deleted from the system.
- Click a type in the Work Order Type table and click the Edit button to make changes to its name, category (such as Basic, PMRM, Request, or Turn), abbreviation, or related alert print template.
