Delete an Asset

You can delete assets while still leaving the models they are based on intact.  

To delete an asset, complete the following steps:

1. Go to Assets > Asset Search.
2. Use the search fields to locate the asset you want to delete.
3. Double-click the asset name.
4. On the Asset Details screen, drill down to the level that contains the asset you want to delete.
5. Click the name of the asset to be deleted.
6. Click the (Delete) button at the bottom of the screen.

Tip

• Deleted assets remain visible in both active and inactive work orders, but no new work orders can be created using deleted assets.
