Copy and Paste an Asset
Copying assets lets you quickly and efficiently expand the number of assets you have within a model. You
might duplicate a floor if you have multiple floors in a commercial building
or a suite if you have multiple suites.

- Go to Assets > Asset Search.
- Use the search fields to locate the asset you want to copy.
- Double-click the asset name.
- On the Asset Details screen, drill down to the level that contains the asset you want to copy.
- Click the name of the asset to be copied.
- Click the (Copy) button at the bottom of the screen to make a copy of the asset or click the
(Copy with Children) button if you want to copy all of the assets within
the asset as well.
